Every PDF tool, one app

Everything you’d do with a PDF on a computer, now on your phone.

Simple enough that you don’t need a tutorial, like a word processor on your phone.

Edit PDF text

Tap any line to change it, even on scanned pages. Add text boxes, images, drawings, highlights and shapes.

Edit tables without breaking them

Type into a cell and the row grows to fit, like a word processor. Invoices and reports are edited on your iPhone, never uploaded. How it works

Compress PDF

Shrink big scans so they fit in an email.

Fill in forms and draw your signature with a finger.

OCR scan to text PRO

Make scanned documents searchable and copyable.

Redact PRO

Remove names, account numbers, emails and phone numbers from the file for good.

Protect & more

Add or remove passwords, add watermarks and page numbers, and batch-process files.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How do I edit a PDF on my iPhone?

Open the PDF in Sheaf, choose Edit PDF, and tap any line of text to change it. You can also add text, images, drawings, highlights, shapes and your signature, then save.

Can I edit a PDF table on iPhone without uploading it?

Yes. In Sheaf, open Edit PDF, tap a cell and choose Edit cell. A longer entry makes the row grow instead of breaking the table, and the whole edit happens on your iPhone: the file is never uploaded. See how.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool runs on your iPhone. Files are never uploaded, and the app works offline.

Is Sheaf free?

Yes. All basic tools are free to use and preview. You can save 3 files a day for free by watching one short ad each, on files up to 15 pages or 10 MB. Bigger files open and edit for free too. More files, or a bigger one, are $0.99 each, or Pro removes ads and limits. Free files are never watermarked.

Can I convert Word, Excel or photos to PDF on iPhone?

Yes. Import Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, text or image files and Sheaf converts them to PDF on your device, ready to edit.

How do I merge PDFs on iPhone?

Choose Merge, add two or more PDFs, drag them into order and tap Merge. It happens on your iPhone in seconds.

Can I permanently remove sensitive information from a PDF?

Yes, with Redact (Pro). It removes the marked content from the file itself, not just hides it, and strips document metadata. Editing text only changes what’s shown on the page, so use Redact for anything confidential.
