Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Sheaf, provided by Jalal-Samer-Abdel-Husein Al Madfai ("we", "us"). Contact: support@sheafpdf.app. The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add details specific to Sheaf. If anything here conflicts with Apple's EULA, the EULA wins.

Your files, your responsibility

• Sheaf works on your device. You keep full ownership of your documents.
• Make sure you have the right to edit, convert, sign or share the files you use.
• Keep your own backups. We can't recover files, because we never have a copy.

What editing does and doesn't do

• Edit text changes what is shown on the page. In some files the original text can remain in the file's internal structure. To permanently remove sensitive information, use Redact.
• Conversion, OCR and text matching work very well but are not perfect. Always review important documents before relying on them.
• An electronic signature added with Sheaf is an image of your signature. Whether it's legally binding depends on your jurisdiction and the other party.

Free version, purchases and subscriptions

• Free: all basic tools. You can save up to 3 files per day by watching one short ad each, on files up to 15 pages or 10 MB.
• $0.99 per file: saves one file instantly, without an ad. This is a one-time consumable purchase.
• Pro and Pro Unlimited: auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly, monthly or yearly) with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Prices and features may change. Changes never affect a subscription period you have already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don't use Sheaf to break the law, infringe others' rights, forge documents or signatures, or remove protection from files you're not authorised to unlock.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
